How to connect your Facebook account via OAuth

Connecting your Facebook account

The Facebook connection is essential for IzeAds to access your ad accounts, pixels, pages, and Business Managers. Authentication is done via OAuth, Facebook's official protocol, ensuring complete security.

Step by step

Go to the Connections page

In the sidebar menu, click "Connections". You will see the list of Facebook accounts already connected (if any).

Click "Connect Facebook"

Click the button to start the OAuth authentication flow. A Facebook window will open.

Authorize the required permissions

Facebook will ask you to authorize IzeAds access. Accept all requested permissions for the platform to work correctly.

Select the Business Managers

After authorizing, select which Business Managers you want to connect. IzeAds will automatically sync the associated ad accounts, pixels, and pages.

Wait for synchronization

The system will automatically sync all your Facebook assets. This may take a few seconds depending on the number of accounts.

Do not remove permissions

If you remove permissions after connecting, features like metrics sync, campaign creation, and lead capture will stop working. Keep all permissions active in your Facebook settings.

Use a Business Manager

We strongly recommend connecting through a Business Manager (BM) instead of a personal account. The BM offers more control, allows managing multiple ad accounts, and makes it easier to share assets with your team.

Reconnecting an account

If the access token expires or you need to update permissions, simply remove the existing connection and connect again. Your historical metrics and tracking data will be preserved.
