ClickBank Integration

Connect ClickBank to IzeAds to automatically receive sales, refunds and chargebacks (via the Instant Notification Service, INS v6), so your ROAS, ROI and profit reflect real revenue. ClickBank encrypts the notification, so a Secret Key is required.

Configuration

Go to Integrations in IzeAds

In the sidebar menu, open "Integrations" and find the ClickBank card.

Copy the webhook URL

IzeAds generates a unique webhook URL for your company. Click the copy button.

Open the INS in ClickBank

In ClickBank, go to Account Settings > My Site > Advanced Tools > Instant Notification Service (INS).

Set the notification URL

Paste the copied URL in the Instant Notification URL field and set the INS Version to 6.0 or higher.

Copy the Secret Key and paste it in IzeAds

In the same INS section, copy the Secret Key (16 characters) and paste it in the Secret Key field on the IzeAds ClickBank integration. It is required to decrypt the notification.

Save and test

Save on both sides and make a test sale to confirm the event arrives in IzeAds.

Secret Key (required)

ClickBank's INS v6 sends the notification encrypted. IzeAds needs the Secret Key (from Advanced Tools > INS) to decrypt it — without it, the sale cannot be read. The value is currency-normalized to USD by default when no currency is provided.

Tracked events

Sale / test sale / rebill / upsell: Recorded as Purchase with the order value
Refund (RFND): Recorded as Refund to adjust revenue
Chargeback (CGBK): Recorded as Chargeback to adjust revenue

Sale attribution

For IzeAds to link the sale to the right campaign, the SCK must travel in the hoplink as ?tid={SCK}. The IzeAds smart link (/go) injects it automatically, and ClickBank echoes it back in the tracking codes. Without an IzeAds tracker click, the sale arrives without a campaign (orphan) and is attributed by other signals.
