Understanding campaign metrics

IzeAds syncs your Facebook campaign metrics automatically every 30 minutes. The metrics table provides a complete view of performance at all levels: campaigns, ad sets, and individual ads.

Main metrics

  • SpendTotal amount invested in the selected period
  • ImpressionsNumber of times your ads were displayed
  • ClicksTotal clicks on ads (link clicks)
  • CTR (Click-Through Rate)Click rate: Clicks / Impressions x 100
  • CPC (Cost per Click)Spend / Clicks
  • CPM (Cost per Thousand)Cost per 1,000 impressions
  • ConversionsTracked conversion actions (purchases, leads, etc.)
  • CPA (Cost per Acquisition)Spend / Conversions
  • ROAS (Return on Ad Spend)Revenue / Spend. A ROAS of 3.0 means $3 of revenue for every $1 spent
  • ROI (Return on Investment)(Revenue - Spend) / Spend x 100, expressed as a percentage
  • ProfitTotal revenue minus ad spend

Metrics synchronization

Metrics are automatically updated every 30 minutes by the metrics worker. IzeAds queries the Facebook Insights API for each monitored account and stores data by day, enabling detailed historical analysis.

To force an immediate update, click the sync button on the campaigns page. The sync will be added to the queue and processed shortly.

Monitored accounts

Only ad accounts marked as "monitored" in Settings > Monitored Accounts will have their metrics automatically synced. Add the accounts you want to track to ensure up-to-date data.

Customizing columns

1

Open the column configurator

In the metrics table, click the columns icon in the upper right corner.

2

Select the desired metrics

Check or uncheck the columns you want to display. You can reorder by dragging items.

3

Save the configuration

Your column preferences are automatically saved and maintained between sessions.

Interpreting metrics

A high CPA combined with low ROAS indicates you are paying too much per conversion. Analyze which adsets or creatives are generating this cost and consider pausing the worst performers. Focus budget on the sets with the best ROAS.

Currency conversion

If you advertise in different currencies (USD, EUR), IzeAds automatically converts values to your company currency using updated exchange rates. Configure your company currency in Settings > Company.
