Setting up the Tracker

How to create and configure a pixel tracker

Creating a tracking configuration

The IzeAds tracker lets you track visitors, leads, and sales on your landing pages with precision. Each tracking configuration generates a unique script linked to your Facebook pixels for sending events via the Conversions API (CAPI).

Step by step

1

Go to the Tracking page

In the sidebar menu, click "Tracking". You will see the list of all existing configurations with their metrics.

2

Click "New Configuration"

The creation modal will open with all available options.

3

Select the domain

Choose a previously registered custom domain. The domain will be used to serve the tracking script and receive events.

4

Select the pixels

Choose one or more Facebook pixels that will receive the events. The available pixels come from your connected accounts.

5

Choose the tracking mode

Select between Script, Proxy, or Redirect. Each mode has different advantages (see below).

6

Configure the offer URL

Enter the URL of your landing page or sales page. This is the page where the visitor will be directed.

7

Configure the Safe Page (optional)

Set a safe page URL for redirecting bots and suspicious traffic. Recommended for campaign protection.

Tracking modes

IzeAds offers three tracking modes, each with its own characteristics:

  • ScriptYou add a JavaScript snippet to your page. It is the simplest mode. Ideal for those who have control over the landing page code.
  • ProxyIzeAds fetches the HTML of your page and serves it through the custom domain, injecting the script automatically. No changes to the original page required. Ideal for third-party pages.
  • RedirectThe visitor is redirected to the offer page with tracking parameters in the URL. The simplest mode, but less discreet.

Proxy mode and cloaking

Proxy mode is the most recommended for those using cloaking, as the content is served directly by the custom domain without visible redirects. Additionally, the tracking script is injected automatically.

Test before scaling

After creating the configuration, access the tracker URL in your browser and verify in the dashboard that PageView events are being registered before directing paid traffic.
